inaugural the obama administration recognizes the economy is tough and there's an awful lot of challenges facing the nation. this is a much more business oriented getting the job done type of inaugural if he is tivity. >> you are pointing to the issue of money there. they cut back on expenses. >> last year they raised 53 million. they allowed corporate contributions and lifted a cap between 2009 to 50,000 now it is unlimited. there were 10 balls in 2009. they went to a number of them. this time they cut it down to just two. while the venues are bigger now it is 20,000 some strong. it is all part of trying to recognize the country has big challenges ahead. the work begins the day after tomorrow. >> carl cameron keeping an eye on it for us live. thank you very much karl. >> barbara walters is recovering from a bump on the head tonight. veteran news woman tripped and fell at the washington home of britain's ambassador to the u.s. during an inaugural party. the fall left her with a cut on her forehead. while she remained alert her friends thought it was a good idea to take her to the hospital

photographer during the ford administrati administration, they're producing the official second barack obama inaugural book. you took a very unusual photograph of an angry president clinton. explain what was going on? >> it's a picture i wanted to take from the beginning of covering clinton, temper was a big part of who he was. he's got a great sense of humor, he's got a great focus, but you have to capture it all. your job in the white house is -- you get the complete look, and -- >> that's david gergen in the corner? >> it is. and he's kind of amused, he's out of the range. >> is that george stephanopolous? >> it is. when this started, once you worked around clinton, and i'm standing behind george, and i started thinking in my mind, this is my chance, i'm going to make it this time. i can try it, but i was really a little afraid. >> were you nervous he would direct the anger at you? >> absolutely, no, no, if i wasn't working with a little range finder -- i didn't frame the picture, i cut off clinton's hand which i wouldn't do normally. i put it back down, i was like, whew, i got away with

with the community. we saw that with over 70% vote for obama. >> it's the first time until a very long time you've had three back to back presidents all doing two terms. does that bring a certain stability to the administration of the united states? >> i think it does. there are a lot of reports that have been jimmed up in agriculture and commerce and interior. he can start using executive orders to do new things on new type of farming procedure or monument. he koun do that in tcouldn't dot time. takes a while to adjust living in the white house. the media makes a lot out of these curses. obama care may have been a first term success but he's got to make it the law of the land. >> most presidents had been hit by this curse. ronald reagan has the iran contra scandal. they all seem to get unsettled and unravelled by a big event often beyond their control. barack obama, we don't know what it may be. it may be nothing. he has the green shoot for a better economy. hi didn he didn't have that four years ago. is that going to be a significant help to him? >> think about second term dwight eisenhower.
